Most Asphalt Gets Replaced Years Too Early

We cut the failed area back to solid pavement, remove the broken material, address the base underneath, then fill and compact with hot mix. Surface skim patches look fine for a month and then sink. Cutting it out properly costs a little more and actually holds.

Cracks are how water gets into the base, and water in the base is what turns a cheap repair into a repave. We clean the cracks out and fill them with hot rubberized material that flexes with the pavement instead of popping loose.
